UvA Diploma (Media & Culture BA)

Studying Media and Culture at UvA shaped how I think and how I work. Between deadlines, overlapping projects, and a lot of group work, I learned how to stay organised, manage my time, and actually get ideas over the line. A big part of the experience was working with others collaborating on projects, exchanging perspectives, and building strong relationships along the way.

What I really appreciated was the flexibility of the program. It gave me space to explore different interests, from Persuasive Marketing and Innovation Management to a separate, long-standing love for cinema and film analysis. That interest eventually came together with music in my thesis, where I focused on the relationship between moving image and sound, and how the two shape feeling and meaning when they meet.
